Gaming cult favorite - Mario Kart, is back with a newer, improved edition. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a thrilling cart racing game that is the eighth in line in Nintendo’s series. The main protagonist is the famous plumber Mario alongside his friends - Bowser, Yoshi, Princess Peaches, and of course, Mario’s brother Luigi.

Players will be able to choose between 42 different characters, most of which they’ll recognize from pop culture. The game allows up to twelve players and users can choose between Racing and Multi-player mode. When it comes to updates and improvement, users can expect to see eight new battle arenas and some new gameplay modes.

Moreover, the popular Boo and Feather items are finally restored. Another cool addition allows players to carry two items simultaneously. The Deluxe edition is mostly upgraded, however, some features and options were removed. Miiverse compatibility is now excluded, as well as stamps and the ability to upload highlight reels.

On the bright side, though, this game boasts the largest number of characters so far. Some characters that were exclusive or unlockable in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are now available from the get-go. Another important innovation is the implementation of smart-steering and auto-acceleration, which is suitable for beginners.
